Ethics has evolved in many places on Earth. It is therefore interesting to illustrate parallels and mutual interactions with the development in Europe.

Clearly, the flow of ideas from Greek and Roman antiquity to today had numerous interactions with the monotheistic religions. In the context of the epiStoa initiative, it is therefore intriguing to see where and how these interactions shaped, one way or the other, the transition from atomism and stoa to our times.
